About the event
Embodied Breath is a gentle way to access this transformative space using full, connected breaths to invite an altered state of consciousness.
As energy moves through the body, it often releases energetic and physical density, creating space for a profound emergence of experience and wisdom.
This journey is held in a safe, nurturing environment where each person’s experience is honored and supported.
We'll begin with connection, intention setting, and clear guidance about how to breathe to create a somatic, transcendent experience. The breath experince will lead with 10 minutes of seated Kriya.
Kriya: The Sanskrit root ‘kri’ means ‘action’ or ‘effort.’ And ‘ya’ is the Atman or soul. Its literal translation is action or effort involving your transcendental Self.
Kriya tunes and prepares the body to embrace heightened levels of kundalini energy. It then liberates and directs that energy. Typically, one's energy flows outward, where it is not utilized efficiently, resulting in a significant amount of waste. Kriya aids in the efficient channeling of our life energy back into the body's energy pathways, enabling it to be utilized for the purpose of enhancing awareness, expanding consciousness, and achieving self-realization.
We will then come lying down (the space is carpeted and soft) and begin a circular breath pattern of deep belly up to chest expansion and release with three breath holds throughout. This breath pattern will last the remainder of the hour.
Steve will support this through education about the power of breath practice and the shamanic tools he has gathered over many years of practice with transcendental states.
The breath session will come to a close in a release into a vibrant, expansive, peaceful rest.
We will end our session by sharing and connecting in presence.
